What’s Coming up: From Now until December 2026

The Sound Inside (Already started – Oct 10th, 2026)

I just caught this the other night and I absolutely had to include it. A strong two-hander that is pared down to the essence of theatre, this show is incredibly nuanced, and begs the audience to lean in. Touching, shocking, and surprisingly funny at times, I highly recommend you get to Inconnu before this one closes.

Clue (Oct 7th – 18th, 2026)

My season pick for this year at St. Luke’s, this show has the potential to be an absolutely hilarious madcap comedy! Perfect for a chilly fall night!

Witches in the Closet (Oct 8th-9th, 2026)

This musical, witchy, LGBTQ+ show has shown up in different versions around town, and also toured to Edmonton fringe festival this year. I’m excited to catch this show!

Fionn (Oct 17th, 2026)

This duo has the most awesome, fun music that you cannot help but fall in love with. Sure, they are poppy but they also rock out with subtly layered music and pitch perfect harmonies.

Heads up: Both Fionn and Begonia (below) are being plagued with fake ticket links – when I was searching for this post, the first several links were outright fakes or very dubious! If you are ever unsure where to buy from, go to the artist’s website and follow the link from there.

William Head on Stage (Oct 2nd – 24th, 2026)

On a planet far away, things are different, seemingly perfect. When one broken orb throws chaos into the mix, everything gets turned upside down.

Performed by incarcerated people, William Head on Stage is now celebrating 45 years of performing, and it is always an incredibly unique experience!

An evening with Cory Doctorow (Oct 20, 2026)

First up – this show has already moved to a bigger venue and tickets are going FAST. Don’t wait to book if you want to go!

Doctorow is magically able to put words to the immense frustration and unbridled illogic of this bizarre digital world we find ourselves in. His new book is titled The Reverse Centaur’s Guide to Life After AI, and I for one cannot wait to hear his thoughts on AI firsthand.

Dance Victoria Presents Out Innerspace’s Rhino (October 24th, 2026)

Dark, moody, and surreal, this dance piece moves between a theatre show and dance piece. I am utterly intrigued by the trailer and can’t wait to see what these incredible artists bring to the stage.

Laura Ramoso (Oct 28th and 29th, 2026)

Best known for her loving impressions of her German mom and Italian dad, her cheeky jibes at “that girl just returned from X country”, or her dear Canadian mother in law, Uvic grad Laura Ramoso is such a fun night, I’m seeing her again! She has two nights this time and tickets are going fast!

Begonia (October 29th, 2026)

You might not think you know Begonia’s music, but you honestly probably do. Clever, belt-y, and a style all her own, there’s not going to be a more fun evening than this!

The Ridge (November 7th, 2026)

I fell in LOVE with Brendan McLeod’s The Joy at fringe this summer, and I’m so thrilled to get to experience the Fugitives in person. By all accounts, the Ridge is a deeply researched, touching, and honest look at the lost Canadian lives at Vimy ridge.

Lawyers on Stage: Witness for the Prosecution (Dec 11th-Dec 13th, 2026)

A hidden gem of our theatre community, the legal minds of Lawyers on Stage (LOST) turn in their articles for scripts and raise money for charity in the process! This year’s performance is an Agatha Christie legal thriller that is sure to be a mile-a-minute back and forth!

Spooky Faves:

Vic theatre’s Fright Fest (Ongoing through October)

Film fest has got us covered in every blood curdling frame, from the funny to the faint-worthy! Check out your favourite (or soon to be favourite) Halloween flick!

The Haunted Life of Francis Rattenbury (Oct 13th-30th, 2026)

A perfect sort of spooky, but also super cool way to learn more about the history of our Legislative buildings. The was genuinely the most clever tour of a heritage building I have ever taken! This play introduces you to the haunted spectres of British Columbians past. Keep your eyes peeled because you never know what’s around the next corner…

The tours are free but you must register in advance!

High Moon: A Werewolf Western (October 14th-October 30th)

Back for another year of howling good times this werewolf-western mashup is such a fun night of a walking play through the grounds of Heritage Acres. Rumour has it, it’s going to be even scarier this year!

Winter holiday fun:

A Jewish Sing a Long Christmas? (Nov 7th – Nov 15th, 2026)

So many of the Christmas songs we know were actually written by Jewish composers! Take this fun and educational journey into the stories behind the songs, and, of course share some tunes yourself!

Christmas Pops with Steven Page (Dec 5th-Dec 6th, 2026)

Steven Page, formerly of BNL, is bringing his iconic vocals to the best loved holiday songs with the Victoria Symphony!

Robinson Crusoe Panto (Dec 17th – Dec 31st, 2026)

Pantos were something I had never experienced before I moved to Victoria, but they are such a fun holiday activity! St. Luke’s pantos always sell out and are such a well loved tradition in the theatre going community.
