Article: A 10-Year-Old Girl’s Ordeal to Have a Legal Abortion in Brazil (Human Rights Watch)

I know there is a level of gleeful schadenfreude that not even Bush would cast his vote for Trump. But, the other side to this story is that Bush thought that the best possible choice in the face of a racist, sexist, candidate was not to cast a vote for a candidate in another party, but to spoil his ballot by writing in a candidate.
Really, president Bush? It’s better to spoil your ballot than to vote for Joe Biden? There is no redeeming quality from this candidate that would cause you to look at the merit of his ideas over his party?
The best course of action, in your esteemed opinion, rather than to look at the hurt caused by Trump’s rhetoric, was to waste your vote on a joke?
I cannot laugh at this, and I cannot respect this man. His presidency has left permanent scars on the global community, and this most recent stunt shows where his commitment lies: to party over country.

Article: They Hacked McDonald’s Ice Cream Machines—and Started a Cold War (Wired)
This is objectively wild. This is like right to repair on steroids. This is weirder than demolition man’s version of the future and someone more convoluted.
And now I want ice cream.
